Shop Titans FAQ: Armor and Clothing to Ascend

Shop Titans (by Kabam) is an addictive mobile phone app (game) that intrigues users with general interests in various game genres — particularly building/crafting, selling, and competitive ranking games.

One of the questions that gets asked quite often by both novice and intermediate players is, “On what should I use my ascension shards?”

Here’s a categorized list of the items that are worth ascending, but keep in mind the following:

1. The “Constellated” achievement bonus requires you to fully ascend 100 items. The reward for doing so is 100 gems.
2. This is just my opinion, but I think the majority would agree.
3. If I label an item with “Ascension Importance: 1” then those are definite items that, in my opinion, you should ascend if you have limited shards. “Ascension Importance: 2” means ascend those based on shard availability or your own personal needs due to your material and component needs.

Anyway, here’s the list:

1. Heavy Armor

a. T5 Knight Breastplate: [Ascension Importance: 2] Ascend twice to save on materials and/or increase multi-craft chance

b. T6 Paladin Plate: [Ascension Importance: 1] Ascend 3 times to remove the prerequistite iem requirement of the T3 Scale Armor.

c. T7 Samurai Do: [Ascension Importance: 1] Ascend 3 times because it’s T7.

2. Light Armor

a. T5 Hide Armour: [Ascension Importance: 2] Ascend 3 times to save on materials and resources, as well as to increase mutli-craft chance.

b. T6 Savage Garb: [Ascension Importance: 2] Ascend twice to save on materials and resources, as well as to increase mutli-craft chance.

c. T7 Ninja Garb: [Ascension Importance: 1/2] I think it’s important to ascend all T7 items, but this particular item only needs to be ascended twice for the purpose of saving on materials and resources, as well as increasing mutli-craft chance.

3. Clothing

a. T5 Scholar’s Tunic: [Ascension Importance: 2] Ascend twice to save on materials/components and to increase multi-craft chance.

b. T6 Witch’s Outfit: [Ascension Importance: 2] Ascend twice to save on materials/components and to increase mutli-craft chance.

c. T7 Midnight Apparel [Ascension Importance: 1] Ascend 3 times to remove the component quality requirement, and because it is t7. If not ascended, this item requires a superior quality t1 spell: Scroll of Sparks. After ascension, it only requires regular quality.
