The Grand Mafia Crew Configurations and Formations

This is a brief rundown of the best way to configure crews for battle.

Enforcers to Always Avoid

The following Enforcers have no battle skills and should never be in a configured crew, and they definitely should never be your Underboss:

  1. Lupo
  2. White Dove
  3. Jade
  4. Nioh
  5. Bone Crusher
  6. Mantis
  7. Black Hawk

Your Underboss

When configuring a crew, keep in mind that your Underboss should be from a different squad type than the other 4 Enforcers. For example, if you have a Hitmen crew configured, you should have a Biker or Bruiser Enforcer in your loadout, and it would be best if he had Crew skills instead of Squad skills. That enforcer should be chosen as your UB for that battle. Furthermore, your Underboss should have the only weapon in your crew that provides a CREW bonus. The rest should have SQUAD bonus weapons. The CREW bonuses on weapons do not stack. The SA80 is a good choice for your UB.

The Whole Crew

For Bike Raids:

  • -UB: (Best choices) El Santo, Tengu; (Other options) Mickey, Hellcat, Medusa
  • -Enforcers: Red Thorn, Bubba, Mamacita, Fang, Tony, Cee-Jay, Captian, Ouka, Sicario
  • Troop Type: 10 t3 Bruiser, 10 t3 Hitmen, Fill with t4 Bikes*
  • Formation: Hitmen Square or Wedge depending on your preference

For Hitmen Raids:

  • UB: (Best choices) Red Thorn, El Santo; (Other options) Hellcat, Medusa, Snowstorm
  • Enforcers: (Best options) Brutus, Chupacabra, Papi; (Others) Huntress, Sparrow, Belladonna, Big Shot, Paulie
  • Troop Type: 10 t3 Bruiser, 10 t3 Bikes, Fill with t4 Hitmen*
  • Formation: Bruiser Square or Wedge

For Bruiser Raids:

  • UB: (Best choices) Red Thorn, Tengu; (Other options) Snowstorm, Mickey
  • Enforcers: (Best) Maestro, Lucky 7, The Count; (Others) Nihilista, Mike, El Cortador, Killer Queen, Onryo, Deathlok, El Cazador, T-Roc
  • Troop Type: 10 t3 Hitmen, 10 t3 Bikes, Fill with t4 Bruisers*
  • Formation: Biker Square or Wedge

For 333 Raids:

(For 333 (equal mix of 3 troop types), I suggest using a UB and Enforcers with CREW skills, and preferably 3 of them.)

  • UB: El Santo, Red Thorn, Tengu
  • Enforcers: (Best) El Santo, Red Thorn, Tengu; (Others) Medusa, Hellcat, Bubba, Fang, Ouka, Mickey, Papi, Brutus, Chupacabra, Nihilista, Sicario, Count, Lucky 7, Professor.
  • Troop Type: 1/3 Bruiser (10 t3 if you want, the rest t4), 1/3 Hitmen (10 t3, rest t4), 1/3 Bikers (10 t3, rest t4)
  • Formation: If you have reconned the target, go for the best counter. Otherwise, I think Bruiser Wedge is a safe bet, though some people use a Hitmen formation.

NOTE: I did not mention sending cars because it’s an unpopular opinion. Personally, I believe in sending cars if the benefit of lesser wounded outweighs the travel time. If so, 15k t4 cars is a good starting point. I also did not list any car enforcers because, honestly, I see no point in them.

(I have not included the newer, expensive Enforcers. If you see any errors or have any suggestions, please let me know.)
